About Phil Neves
Phil Neves is a Brazilian-American Creative Director currently working at Group Black, an inclusive, mission-driven media company focused on dramatically transforming the face of media ownership and investment. Phil was hired at Group Black to lead the company's creative vision and launch the brand. Brand awareness has been built through strategic creative executions in the media and advertising industry via experiential activations at leading industry events such as Cannes Lions, ADCOLOR, SXSW, and CES.
Prior to Group Black, he was the Creative Director at Holler, a next-gen tech company in the messaging space. Phil was originally brought on at Holler as the company's first ever creative hire, where he built out the creative studio (a team of animators, illustrators and content strategists that ideate and produce content for messaging). After building the team, he transitioned into a Creative Director role that oversaw Holler's rebrand and became responsible for all creative aspects relating to Holler's marketing and branding.
Phil has also worked as the Senior Art Director at Inspira Marketing, an independent agency and leader in the experiential marketing space. At Inspira, Phil helped build immersive experiences for brands such as Diageo, Guinness, Geico, and P&G.
In his free time, Phil takes on personal projects to help small companies and creators build their brand identity and digital presence. He has a BA from the University of Miami in both Studio Art and Filmmaking with a minor in Marketing. Phil is fluent in English, Portuguese, German, and Spanish.
