Where I Pretend to Hate Talking About Myself
I’m Phil Neves—a Brazilian-American Creative Director currently moonlighting as Group Black’s hype man. My mission? Convince the world it’s the coolest media company on Earth. (Spoiler: it is. And yes, I have receipts.) I lead the charge on all things creative, making media louder, bolder, and way more inclusive.
Before I was wrangling big ideas and even bigger expectations, I built the creative engine at Holler, a tech startup on a mission to reinvent messaging. Translation: I hired a killer crew, made a ton of motion content, and somehow got it all out the door with style and minimal breakdowns.
Go further back and you’ll find me at Inspira, turning brand briefs into immersive brand universes. I helped Diageo, Guinness, and even Geico’s gecko throw events that people actually talked about.
Off the clock? I chase toddlers, build brand identities for small businesses, and try to use my powers for good. Fluent in four languages (five if you count sarcasm), with a degree in Studio Art + Filmmaking from the University of Miami and a minor in Marketing—because I like my creativity with a side of strategy.
